Joanne Gervais Ainsworth, Esq.
Joanne Gervais Ainsworth practices in the areas of Real Estate, Business and Dog Law. She has over twenty-five years’ business experience in private, for-profit and non-profit sectors. She aids her clients with compassion and attention to detail.
Joanne was born in Providence, Rhode Island and was raised in Massachusetts, where she resided until 2011 when she moved to Santa Clarita. She attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she received her bachelor’s degree in arts, Cum Laude. After college, Joanne enjoyed a long and rewarding career in the Arts, as the owner of a successful dance studio, Gervais School of Performing Arts. She is also a certified social studies teacher, grades 5 – 12 in Massachusetts.
During her time as a Dance Educator and small business owner, Joanne was grateful to instruct and mentor thousands of people, young and old. An alumna of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston, as well as a former visiting professor of Jazz Dance at Mount Holyoke College, Joanne is well-versed in the Art of Dance and is respected as a master teacher of Jazz and Tap.
After pivoting to a career in law, Joanne graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Francis School of Law in 2025. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2026.
Joanne lives in Santa Clarita with her husband, children, and many beloved animals. She is an avid runner, proponent of animal rights and still enjoys a good tap class.
